Ying & Yang

I’ve figured out this much…
I’m obsessed with the female body, and entranced by the male mind.
That’s probably why I just bought 50 million books of chicks for references on this trip.  And why I only draw girls.  And why I only read books by male authors.  And am sickly in love with a guy.  And [...]

GotoPhoto :)

Goto’s the reason I got into TattooBurst and Rolling Stone Japan.  Gonna be shooting with him and Dylan Maddux tomorrow, two bad ass photographers from the Bay.  Really nervous, kind of excited, but more so… unprepared.  Haha, all we’ve been doing in the past two weeks it EATING EATING EATING.  It’s crazy.  Got me a [...]

So here begins the tale of the shirted parrot…
Back when we were in SF back in October, Orly and Meesh took us to a little cafe near Seventh Son.  We were all eating, and in the corner of our eye, we saw a guy holding a parrot on his arm outside of the door.  We [...]

City Lights

Cruised around Frisco last night and the night before.  Got some cool flicks, lots of funny stories… froze our asses off… yes, us “Hawaiians” aren’t acclimated.  So… a breakdown of my past two days in good ol’ San Francisco (in random order cause I can’t remember the sequence in which it all happened).

Saw Terminator (not [...]

Family First

Been in contact with Erik and Jeremy for awhile, planning to tattoo them when I got to San Jose.  As they say in Cali, they were “hella cool” guys.
Luckily I’ve mostly been doing script out here… and I love it!!!  I’ll do script all day if I have the chance… so to all you script-wanters [...]

I know this is a novel and most of you probably won’t read it, but it’s more so a journal entry for myself to catalogue what’s been going on in my tattoo life while here.  Just a fair warning.
I can’t possibly accurately describe what I’ve been learning and feeling while I’m here in San Jo [...]

Still keepin’ on…

Day 4… San Jose.
Craziness ensuing.  Mr. Croci makes everyone nervous.  Especially me.  Sefa works too hard.  Never doing multi-lower-cased-old-english-super-small-on-the-ribs-ever-again.  Or so I say now.

There’s a little Toby in there…
That’s scary.  Haha.

Oh my god…

May 20th, 2009

If only I could explain how freaked out I was today….
1) Tattooing for the first time at Humble Beginnings.  I thought I was gonna pass out, especially when all the boys got back from lunch.  I really felt sick.  For real!  I was soooooo fucking nervous.
2) Getting critiqued by two of my absolute idols.  I [...]
